Whether you will cross town, state lines, or oceans to celebrate our marriage, we are humbled by the time, expense, and effort you dedicate to this weekend. If you feel compelled to spend more on us, consider contributing in our name to organizations furthering important work in our communities or purchasing an item from our registry with Crate & Barrel.
Hurricane Helene caused devastation across the Southeast in late September. Our hearts go out to those who have been impacted, especially the communities of St. Petersburg, Florida, Asheville, and Hendersonville, North Carolina. The American Red Cross is providing critical relief in the form of food, shelter, information, and medical aid to individuals and families in the affected areas.
The Humane Society of Charlotte improves animal welfare through adoption services, essential care, spaying and neutering, training, and rehoming. Both of our pets came to us from shelters, and our kitten, Princess Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Grimaldi (Mia), is a proud Charlotte Humane Society alumnus! Your contribution to the Humane Society could feed a litter of puppies, spay a young cat prior to adoption, or contribute to the cost of a treatment for an animal with medical concerns. The Mary Parrish Center serves survivors of domestic and sexual abuse in Middle Tennessee through housing programs and on-site social services. The MPC provides no-cost clinical therapy, workforce development, and economic development training, and high-risk women and children are eligible for up to one year of housing rent-and-utilities-free at their secure apartment complex. Will volunteered on site and served on the board of a student-run benefit concert supporting the MPC while at Vanderbilt.
